With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ilene Kasten (Spring Valley, Minnesota), born in Ostrander, Minnesota, who passed away on May 13, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Norgarden and Norma Norgarden (Northness); and her husband George F. Kasten. She is survived by: her children, Donna Rudlong (Alvin) of Spring Valley, Ken Kasten of Spring Valley, Ron Kasten (Kathy) of Rochester, MN and Barb Farr (Tony) of Marshfield, WI; and her sisters, Ethelyn Menees of Solon, IA and Joyce Nelson of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley with Pastor Mark Woodward officiating.
