She is survived by: her children, John Merkel of Spring Valley, Kay Radtke (Leonard) of Spring Valley, Michael Merkel (Michelle) of Rochester and Robert Merkel (Dawn) of Ostrander; and her brother Jim Linaman. She is also survived by 5 granddaughters, 6 grandsons and 14 great-grandchildren.
