He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Vikse and Edna Vikse (Kappers); and his wife Glenna Jacobson. He is survived by: his children, Mike Vikse (Donnette), Mark Vikse of Spring Valley, Monty Vikse (Laura) of Mukwonago, WI, Melodi Wood of Ostrander, Michelle Plaehn (Doug) of Spring Valley and Melissa Vikse of Preston; his grandchildren, Danielle Sexton (Ryan), Trista Tieskotter (Keith), Jenni Ackman (Terry), Tara Post (Jason), LeAnn Raveill (Josh), Brittany Vikse, Aaron Vikse, Brett Wood, Mitchell Plaehn, Marcus Plaehn, Jacob Vikse and Gabe Vikse; his brother Fred Vikse (Shirley) of Rochester; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Vikse of Rochester. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
