He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar G. Austin and Helma J. Austin (Gulbranson); his wife Marcia; and his brother George. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Austin of Minneapolis, MN, Jodi Austin-Thompson (Marty) of Rochester, MN and Cynthia Donaldson (Tim) of Dodge Center, MN.; his grandchildren, Meg Olson (Alex), Annie Goerdt, Jocelyn Austin, Mikayla Austin, Bradyn Donaldson, Hannah Thompson and Nolan Thompson; his great grandchild Hadleigh Austin; and his siblings, Joyce Jacobson of Harmony, MN, Robert Pierce, Pat Pierce, Paul Tangen and Helen Tangen.
