He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Althoff; his stepmother Lorraine Althoff; his mother Margaret Amundson; his stepfather Joseph Amundson; and his brothers, Eugene Althoff and Robert Althoff.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Althoff; his sons, Chad Althoff (Tresa) and Jason Althoff (Anne); his grandchildren, Mason, Rachel, Isaac, Evan, Henry and Isabella; his siblings, Stanley Althoff (Linda), Mary Amundson, Rose Erickson (Ward), Curt Amundson (Liisa), Beth Erickson (Greg) and Brett Amundson (Audrey); and also Blessum. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
