He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Klimek and Margaret Klimek (Koep); his son-in-law Jeffrey Smock; and his siblings, Leonard Klimek, Colleen Bennett (Bob), Bernadine, Mary, Margaret, Edwin Klimek (Martha), Alice Leif (Bob) and Margie Maney (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Danelke; his siblings, Marilyn Lepree (Bud), Lucy Schmitz (Marty), Theodore Klimek (Sue) and Thomas Klimek; his children, Joan Smock (Steven) of New Prague, Steven Klimek (Cheryl), Mark Klimek (Teia) of Blaine, Brian Klimek (Audrey) of Scandia and Paul Klimek (Carol) of New Ulm; and his grandchildren, Timothy (Heather), Stefanie (David), Stacy (Jonathon), Isaiah (Sarah), Jacob, Emily (Quintin), Theodore (Yumeko), Jaclynn (Jordan), Nicholas (Carol), Mitchell (Brittany), Megan (Brandon), Peter, Molly and Kate. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
