With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Hammerud of Spring Lake Park, Minnesota, who passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Rustad and Martha Rustad; her sister Doris Borth; her nephew Christopher Borth; and her grandson Owen Hammerud.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard "Lenny"; her children, Patrick (Victoria), Eric (Rachael) and Sara Johnson (Christopher); her granddaughters, Ella and Linnea; her nephew Mike Borth; and her niece Lisa Danielson. She is also survived by many relatives and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, family will accept memorial for the American Cancer Society.
