He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Helwig; his grandparents, John, Elizabeth Becking, Casper and Agnes Helwig; and his niece Amber Helwig.
He is survived by: his mother Gladys Helwig; his siblings, Troy Helwig (Tracy), Darcy Helwig (Janice) and Larissa Trygg (Rob); his niece Ashley Helwig; and his godson Jayden. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
