It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jeanette Sylling (Spring Grove, Minnesota), born in Humboldt, Minnesota, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Hemmes and Esther Hemmes (Jurgens); and her siblings, Eileen Hemmes, Judy Schneider, Fran Gooselaw and Todd Hemmes.
She is survived by: her husband Karl; her children, Myron Sylling (Nikki), Mikal Sylling (Amy) of Spring Grove, MN, Karla Bloem (Hein) of Houston, MN and Karen Ryan (Mark) of Lake City, MN; her grandchildren, Kaylin Hartzell (Josh), Madie, Jack Ryan, Camron Sylling, Cooper and Austin Sylling; her great grandchildren, Kannon and Kayson Hartzell; her granddaughter Taylor Brown; and her siblings, Reggie Hemmes, Brad Hemmes (Sue), Marshal Hemmes (Lorna), Jack Gooselaw (Sandy), Debbie Kopylov (Jake), Denise Gruber, Darlyce Hemmes and Greg Hemmes (Kim). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
