She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Buxengard and Gertie Buxengard; her former husband Harold "Link" Ellingson; her husband Chester "Bud" Hanson; her siblings, Kenneth Buxengard and Grace Phillips; her siblings-in-law, Stanley Ellingson, Kenneth Ellingson, Oscar Langlie, Evan "Kelly" Phillips, Laverne Buxengard and Evelyn Langlie; and her nephew Lennis Langlie.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan; her stepchildren, Lynnette and Kevin; her children, Sharon Usgaard (Davis) of Barron, WI, Randy Ellingson (Sue) of Cresco, IA and Renee Ellingson of Decorah, IA; her brother Glenn Buxengard (Alllene); and her sister-in-law Winifred Buxengard. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (203 E Main St, Spring Grove, MN 55974). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
