With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert Hunzeker (Spring Grove, Minnesota), born in Peru, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Hunzeker and Lily Hunzeker (Branek); his children, Mary Hunzeker, Lisa Wiens (Henry), Electra Rich and James Hunzeker (Darla); his grandchildren, Jessica Strinmoen (Christopher), Travis Hunzeker (Stefanie), Tyler Hunzeker (Ashley), Kyle Hunzeker (Ali), Lora Wiens (Cathy), Stephanie Wiens Noyes, Joanna Deming (Gavin), Carolyn Kuhfuss (Jonathan) and Jude Rich; his stepdaughter Judy Kerska; his stepgrandsons, Eric Kerska (Tina) and Marc Kerska (Elizabeth); his son Peter Hunzeker; and his siblings, Clyde, Lorain and Emma Hunzeker. He was also cherished by numerous great grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be given to the La Crescent United Methodists Church.
