It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Alvin Van Minsel of Spring Grove, Minnesota, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, August Minsel and Elsie Van Minsel (Doebbert); and his siblings, Leo Van Minsel, Arvilla Burmeister, Jack Van Minsel, Alan Van Minsel, Earl Van Minsel, Kenny Van Minsel (Carol) and Charlene Hansen (Bernie).
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Moen; his children, Wayne Van Minsel and Heather Edgington; his grandchildren, Grace, Mariah and Dane Edgington; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Van Minsel (Jean Van Minsel), Marcene Van Minsel, Victoria Sazama, Andrea Oliverius (Todd), Adrian Moen (Pat), Arden Moen (Terry), Andre Moen and Alvin Moen.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Earth Heritage Center (163 W Main St, Spring Grove, MN 55974).
