He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Karlsbroten and Cora Karlsbroten (Kroshus). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ellestad; his sons, Dennis (Virginia), Robert (Paula) and Brian (Donna); his stepdaughter Cindy Thorson (Jim); his sister Janice Christian (George); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Ellestad, Ione Quinnell and Norma Johnson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
