She was predeceased by: her parents, Benhard Ganrud (Benny) and Violet Ganrud (Christopher); her husband Carleton Onstad (Carty); her son Kurt; her great grandchild Emma Aker; and her siblings, Gordon Ganrud and Alice MacDowell.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Onstad of Wayzata; her daughter-in-law Sylvia Onstad of St Cloud; her grandchildren, Kendrick Onstad (Maria) of Sartell, Kirstin Bowen (John) of St Michael and Kelly Kishel (Tim) of Eveleth; her great grandchildren, Aurora, Carleton Kishel, Nolan Aker, Rayna Bowen and Jaxton Onstad; and her sisters, June Wright of Minnetonka and Donna McDonagh of San Francisco, CA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
