She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Clearwater and Lucy Clearwater (Johnson); her daughter Lucy; her sister Mary Manwaring; and her brother-in-law Harold Manwaring.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Dean of Spicer, Wesley Melbie and Beth Hodge (David) of Dundee. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
