With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Richard Meier of Spicer, Minnesota, who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhardt Meier and Magdalena Meier (Krumm); his former wife Diane Welk; and his siblings, Sophia and Ben.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Huge; his children, Kelly Meier (Richard Hogan) of St. Cloud, Glen Meier (Tara) of Ankeny, IA and Mark Meier of Henderson, NV; his grandchildren, Rachael Saeger (Tim), Noah, Alexandra, Ben and Zoraya Meier; his siblings, Leonhard, James, Sister Doretta, Raymond (Pat), Victor (Arlene), Jerome (Sharon), Frank (Vicki), Mary, Barb Deck (Bill) and Gerald (Darcy); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Beech (Paul), Elly DeGreeff (Steve), Lynn Huge (Jane), Bruce Huge (Jo), Tricia, Evelyn Schwab (Larry) and Edna Schwab.

Memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
