He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Swart and Dorothy Swart (Hogstad); his children, Daryl Swart and Angela Swart; and his sister Diane Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Lahr; his children, Lori Reid (David) of Sartell and Adam Swart (Stefnee) of Eagan; his grandchildren, Casey Swart, Alyssa Swart and Andrew Reid; and his siblings, Donald Swart (JoLynn) of Spicer, Linda Klein (Jake) of St. Paul and Debra Lorensen (Jeff) of Willmar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
