He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Engelke and Eldora Engelke (Allan); his wife Joyce Seemann; his siblings, Agnes Nelson, Sandy Specht, David, Eddie, Bruce, Steven and Greg Engelke; and his brothers-in-law, John Winters, Doug Specht and Wayne Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Doty (Jamie) of Spicer and Jamie Engelke (Trisha) of New London; his grandchildren, Hannah Vazquez (Alexis), Lilly Doty, Logan Doty, Taylor Engelke and Ashton Engelke; and his great grandchildren, Lorenzo and Alden Vazquez.
