He was predeceased by: his parents, Prescott Sebey and Myra Sebey (Jacobson); his siblings, Quinten Sebey, Eugene Sebey and Marlene Sebey; his parents-in-law, Ronald and Alma Schultz; and his sister-in-law Shirley Owen.

He is survived by: his wife Roni; his children, Derek Sebey (Kristi) and Sally Carlson (Ted); his grandchildren, Madison, Brielle, Riley, Holly, Piper and Brock; and his brothers-in-law, Doug Schultz (Deb) and Dale Owen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Granite Falls Lutheran Church, Faith Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association are preferred.
