David Charles Nester Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Charles Nester of Spicer, Minnesota, born in Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanis Nester and Alice Nester (Zetah); his brother Gregory; his nephew Andrew Nester; his parents-in-law, Lester and Aleen Weaver; and his in-laws, Ronald Weaver, Richard Weaver, MaryBeth Weaver, Jane Weaver and Christopher Massimilian.

He is survived by: his wife Julia Ann Weaver; his children, David Nester (Stephanie) of Spicer, Holly Simon (Mark) of Sleepy Eye, Christa Sherman (John) of Marshall and Rachel Nester (Adam Thompson) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Emerson, Drew, Noah, Julia, Clara and Theodore; and his siblings, Diane Miller (Ross), Jim Nester (Ellen), Tom Nester (Sheri), Mark Nester (Sandra), Mary Tomes (Ken), Paul Nester, Joel Nester, Rick Nester (Michele) and Therese Mugge (Jim).

Memorials are preferred to Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center or Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.
