He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin Tallakson and Byrma Tallakson (Johnson); his brother Gary; and his pet Curly. He is survived by: his brother Jerry Tallakson; his wife Mary Sundquist; his daughters, Ashley Tallakson (Michael Malvin) of Willmar and Anissa Tallakson (Jeremy Elkjer) of New London; his siblings, Gerald Tallakson of Spicer and Wendy Olson (Richard) of Willmar; his sister-in-law Pat Erdman (Marlow) of Midlothian, TX; his former wife Mary Tallakson of Willmar; his mother-in-law Hazel Sunquist of Willmar; and his sisters-in-law, Lynnette Sundquist of St. Cloud, Lee Glinvad (Jan) of Denmark and Karen Auer of Hutchinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
