He was predeceased by: his son Jason; his parents, Raymond and Gladys; and his siblings, Rodney, Karen Thompson and Debra Scott.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Jeffrey and Justin (Nancy); his granddaughters, Kassandra and Hailey; and his siblings, Russell (Linda) and Cheryl Tollas (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to American Heart Association.
