He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kovach and Norma Kovach Telander; and his stepson Jeff. He is survived by: his wife Dots; his children, Denise Sundstrom (Dale), Laurie Bauer (Doug) and Steve Kovach (Linda); his stepson Jim Verdick (Heather); his brother Jeff (Bonnie); and his grandchildren, Joe, Andrew, Tony, Madeline, Alex, Leah, Sam and Grace. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials preferred to American Heart Association of Minnesota.
