She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Penas and Helen A. Penas. She is survived by: her husband Wallace L. Schmidt; her brother Matthew F. Penas; and her children, Rebeca Anderson (Greg), Linda J. Johnson (Dave), Christine M. Lennartson, Kay A. Schmidt, Susan A. Schmidt and Bill Schmidt (Karen). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
