He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley (Choate); and his grandson Brian Herbranson. He is survived by: his children, Steve (Nancy), Kathy Herbranson (Gary), Scott (Brenda) and Jeffery; his grandchildren, Kurt (Ani), Mark (Anna), Kris (Karin), Jon Herbranson (Melissa) and Jill; and his great grandchildren, Lenora, Brooke (Vonn), Hunter, Emmit, River and Henrik.
Memorials in his name preferred to the South St Paul Educational Foundation or the Riverwood Healthcare Foundation in Aitkin, Mn.
