It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Linnea Shepard (South Saint Paul, Minnesota), born in Brandon, Minnesota, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Shepard; and her children, Shirley Haakenson (Ivan), Judy Aune Meyer, Kevin Aune (Linda), Michelle Valentine (Greg) and Darin Shepard (Bernadette).

“Edith was an amazing woman who was filled with tons of wisdom. I was honored to work with edie at head start and still have a plaque hanging in my office saying "i haven't lost my mind...it's backed up on a disk somewhere". You know if it is backed up on a disk it is a very old sign. It is my reminder of edie. Prayers for family as you wrap your heart in the wonderful memories. Alice and friends at head start”
