He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Esch; his son Joe; his parents, Nick Esch and Katie Esch; and his sisters, Cathy Newman and Chris Otto.
He is survived by: his children, James Esch (Brittney) and Jessie Koehn (Nick); his grandchildren, Lahna, Hendrik, Kolbie, Dayton, Maryek, Mayzie and Kylo; and his brothers, Bill Esch and Bob "Sloan" Esch (Mary).
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (8108 Barbara Ave E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077). Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial preferred to the family.
