It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Dahnke (South Haven, Minnesota), who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Charles and Hanna Effina Saukkola (Matsen); her husband Donald Dahnke; her siblings, Helen Whitacre, Mary Hokkanen, Mabel, John Saukkola, Eva Hokkanen, Evelyn Dorn, Carl, Arthur, George and Robert Saukkola; her parents-in-law, Ruby and Carl Dahnke; and her sisters-in-law, Marlys and Gene Dillon (Whenever).
She is survived by: her friend Carol Kiland; her close friend Dorothy; her children, Melinda (Rod Gulbransen) of Falcon Heights, Julie Wolfsteller (Jerry) of Annandale and Donald Dahnke (Linda) of Billings, MT; her grandchildren, Jay, Hanna Wolfsteller (Nick Winkel), Matt and Laura Dahnke; and her great grandchildren, Sloan Winkel and Calvin Wolfsteller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
