He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sr. Nordling and Vivian Nordling (Solem); and his brother Kim. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Stone of South Haven; his children, Timothy (Teresa) of Amarillo, TX, Jeffrey (Angela) of Oak Grove, Chad (Kristy) of St. Cloud, Dayna O'Brien (Brandon) of Big Lake and Frank (Tiffany) of Coon Rapids; his grandchildren, Kyle, Travis, Catherine, Ariel, Allan, Andrew, Tara, Ashley, Danielle (Cody), Jacob, Ruby, Corey, Westin, William, Landon and Henley; his great grandchildren, Everly and Camden; and also Jodi. He is also survived by five brothers and one sister; and many more special family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery (MN-115, Little Falls, MN 56345). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 13195 Bayview Rd, South Haven, MN 55382.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance.
