She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Peterson and Emily Peterson (Nordlund); her half-siblings, Wendell Frelander and Joanne Catherman; and her brother-in-law Bruce Catherman.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Wynia of South Haven; her children, Lisa Knick (Randy) of Big Lake, Chad Wynia (Debra) of Lindstrom and Heather Neenan (Phillip) of Waconia; and her grandchildren, Sawyer (Kayden), Siera, Addison, Brock Knick, Sydney, Natalie Wynia, Finley and Evan Neenan. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and grand dogs.
