We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2023, at the age of 82, Yvonne Catherine Windschitl of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, born in New Ulm, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Meidl and Mary Meidl (Saffert); her siblings, Walter Meidl, Hugo Meidl (Ann), Martin Meidl (Beth), Catherine Arndt (Teddy), Donna Windhorn (Delmar), Doris Saffert (Gilbert), Marlys Meidl and Barbara Farrel; and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Roiger (Arnold), Ervin Windschitl, Jonny Johnston, Leo Schroepfer and Leo VanKeulen.
She is survived by: her child Vonnie; her husband Harold Windschitl of Sleepy Eye, MN; her children, Laurie Lundstrom (Tim) of West Fargo, ND, Lester Windschitl of Mankato, MN and Larry Windschitl (Sharon) of Davenport, IA; her grandchildren, Scott Stage, Jon Stage, Jocelyn Ziegler (Chad), Joe Stage, Brittany Thoms, Emily Wenninger (Dan), Derek Windschitl (Kyla), Nicole Baker (Chris), Ashley Bennett (Nick) and Dr. Leigh Davis (Connor); her great grandchildren, Kyle, Yvonne, Emma, Chloe, Phoebe Ziegler, Jasmyne Windschitl, Joey Lee, Paige Thoms, Sylas, Amelia Windschitl, Bryson, Keaton, Sophia Windschitl and Zachary Baker; her siblings, Lois Johnston, Lorraine Schroepfer, Paul Meidl (Joey) and Ray Meidl; and her sisters-in-law, Rita Meidl and Barbara Windschitl.
