He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Pedersen and Helen Pedersen (Weidenheft); his stepmother Dorothy Pedersen; his friend Ted Mason; and also Dennis Olson.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Pedersen; his son Matt Pedersen; his in-laws, Deb Moldaschel (Tom) and Warren Sandmann (Kathy); and also, Donnie Olson (Jolynn Erikson), Dillon Olson (Josie) and Diane Olson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
