He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Ben" Riebel and Minnie Riebel (Klinker); his brother Richard; and his in-laws, Hillard "Jake" and Edna Klossner.
He is survived by: his wife Myrt (Klossner); his children, David (Nancee), Mark (Kathy), Gwen (Darrel Brey) and Sue (Blaine Lueck); his grandchildren, Amber Riebel, Terry Riebel, Nick Riebel, Jacob Riebel, Katie Riebel, Joe Brey, Ali Winter, Ben Lueck, Josh Lueck and Sam Lueck; his brothers, Gerald (Diane) and Ken Riebel of Sleepy Eye; and his siblings-in-law, Harvey Klossner (Marge) of Silver Lake and Ruth Klossner of Bernadotte.
Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic School.
