He was predeceased by: his father Ferdinand Krenz; his brother Patrick Krenz; his parents-in-law, Robert Waldschmidt and Annallee Klueber Waldschmidt; his siblings-in-law, Ronald Waldschmidt, Jerry Waldschmidt and Suzanne Waldschmidt Dualan; and his niece Kim Marie Waldschmidt.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Krenz (Adams); his wife Kathy Krenz; his sons, Jeremy Krenz and Jeffrey Krenz; his grandchildren, Dylan Krenz, Jonah Krenz and Karmela Krenz; his brothers, Lynn Krenz (Joyce), Keith Krenz (Lynette), Ken Krenz (Jan), Mark Krenz (Chandra) and Rick Krenz (Patti); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Waldschmidt (Margaret), Robert Waldschmidt (Patricia), John Waldschmidt (Mary Jo), James Waldschmidt and George Dualan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (217 Brackenridge St SW, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085).
He enjoyed sports, gardening and was always agreeable to assisting at local charity auction events.
