Jennifer Kay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Loren; her grandparents, Dennis Nelson, Nick, Rosemary Mertz, Ed and Julie Blick; her great-aunts, Nicholine Mertz, Inez Mertz, Dolores Regimbal and Mary Jane Baechler; her uncles, Kim Mertz, Nick Mertz III and Lowell Blick; her aunt LuAnn Blick; her cousins, Cole Mertz, Andrew Mertz, Dylan Maas and Charles Blick; and her godfather Gary Blick.
She is survived by: her mother Cheryll; and her sister Kelly. She is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins.
A rosary was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sturm Funeral & Cremation Services - Sleepy Eye (301 3rd Ave SW, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). A prayer was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church-Sleepy Eye (636 1st Ave N, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085).
