He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chisey" Hansen and Phyllis Hansen (George); and his parents-in-law, Elmer and Marge Zempel. He is survived by: his family Craig; his wife Linda Hansen of Sleepy Eye; and his children, Brady Hansen of Phoenix, AZ and Jody Hansen (Jevan Richert) of Springfield. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A prayer was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel (301 3rd Ave SW, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church-Sleepy Eye (636 1st Ave N, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Craig was all about community, readily volunteering, and donating his time, talent, and resources wherever he could.
