With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vesta Berglund (Slayton, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carney and Melba Carney; her husband Theodore Alfred Berglund; her daughter Elizabeth Summer (Bill Linscott); and her great grandchild Hunter Stuckey.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Berglund (Shirley) of Brookings, Christine Haack (Jim Gabrielson) of Roseville, Minnesota, Louise Meyer (Tim) of Storden, Minnesota and Deryl Berglund of Bancroft, Iowa; and her siblings, Leon Carney (Elsa) of Chandler, Minnesota and Verna Jager (Jim) of Hazel Green, Alabama.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
