He is survived by: his children, Barb (Gary Polk), Mary Lynn (Quentin Fabro), Nancy (Douglas Shellum), Doug (Karen Schmitz), Becky Ankrum of Dundas, MN, Sandy (Larry Jarmer) and Dan (Sue Schmitz); his stepchildren, Beth Ann Ludwig of Marion, IA, John, Laura Ludwig of Indianapolis, IN, Matthew Ludwig of Waukee, IA, Bill, Sue Ludwig of Ankeny, IA, Nicole and Tom Cooney of Waukee, IA; and his sister-in-law Marie Schmitz of LeMars, IA.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.
