She is survived by: her children, Charles Allen (Diane Nelson), Karen (Dean Husfeldt), Lois (Eric Rongstad), Ruth (Travis Fawcett) and Donald (Mary Nelson); her grandchildren, Jonathon Nelson (Deanna Tollefson), Susan (Isaac Ydstie), Laura Nelson, Matt (Elissa Husfeldt), Nikki (Zac Salfer), Rachel (Kray Person), Megan Nelson and Carter Fawcett; her great grandchildren, Penny Husfeldt, Maria Ydstie, Leo Ydstie, Ethan Salfer, Dylan Salfer, Joana Nelson-Tollefson, Daniella Nelson-Tollefson and Theo Nelson-Tollefson; her sister Marilyn Brink of Sioux Falls, SD; and her siblings-in-law, Jeaneen Nelson of Slayton, MN, Mayme, Larry Halverson of Marshall, MN, Beverly Gylling of Tyler, MN, Shirley and Pat Brosseau of Cottage Grove, MN..
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (2959 Queen Ave, Slayton, MN 56172). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests memorials be given to Shetek Lutheran Ministries, Christ Lutheran Church, or Our House Hospice in Slayton.
