It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luverne Carlson of Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elfrieda; his daughter-in-law Karla Carlson; his grandson Trevor Carlson; and his siblings, Goodwin Carlson, Sophia, Lillian, Austin Carlson (Katherine), Ferdinand Carlson (Grace), Maynard Carlson (June), Ione Barstad (Ernest) and Evelyn Herder.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Schuch of Bloomington, MN, Leon Carlson of Garvin, MN and Luann Nelson (John) of Elk River, MN; his grandchildren, Kari Schuch (Bert Stewart), Terra (Tau Watts), Libby (Trent Barringer), Ben (Bricelyn Carlson), Briana Beard, Shannon (Matt Thomas) and Amanda (Dan Bier); and his close friends, Jerry and Judy Mickelson of Garvin, MN.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
