He is survived by: his wife Darlene Mechtenberg (Bloch); his stepsons, Dr. Jon Heezen (Melissa Israel) and Dr. Jason Heezen (Angie); his grandchildren, Cody Heezen (Lisa Lommen), Wyatt Heezen (Megan), Emma Fouts (Ryan), Maggie Currie (Joel), Noah Heezen, Karlie Heezen (Tyler Madison) and Morgan Heezen; his great grandchild Eli Fouts; his sister Carol Mechtenberg; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Mechtenberg. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
