He was predeceased by: his parents, George Doeden and Martha Doeden (Van Westen); his grandparents, Harm, Tillie Doeden (Kruger), Klaas and Grace Van Westen (Krull); his parents-in-law, George and Hattie Harders (Ommen); his brothers, Harm Harlan Doeden (LeAnn) and Gary; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Harders and Karen Harders; his nephew Thomas Harders; his great-nephews, George Thomas and George Fredrick Doeden; and his grandson Kaden James Doeden.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lorraine Harders; his children, Pamela Reints (Robert) of Orange City, IA, Chad Doeden (Amy), Janice Caster, Dennis Doeden (Jessica) of Slayton, MN, Craig Doeden (Ashley) of Sioux Falls, SD and Lisa Butler (David) of Lennox, SD; and his sister Gloria Kruse (Edward) of Sibley, IA.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hospice of Murray County.
