It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Joseph Marco of Slayton, Minnesota, born in Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Marco and Alice Marco Marco; his daughter Elizabeth Marco; his great grandchild Aurora Kay Guffin; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Katherine Vosberg.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Marco of Slayton, MN; his children, Luetta Mejia of Worthington, MN, Lisa Hollon of Worthington, MN and Troy Marco (Susan) of Alexandria, MN; his children-in-law, Heidi and Jarett Hanten of Worthington, MN; his children, April, Alan Barbeau of Sibley, IA, Robin and Larry Ober of Rushmore, MN; his children-in-law, Janice and Dick Tracy of Rothsay, MN; his children, Marie, Darwin Kluever of Garretson, MN and Jack Marco of Lake Park, IA; his sisters-in-law, Debra Staples (Richard) of Slayton, MN and Janice Pawelec of Naples, FL.; and his grandsons, Levi Jones, Tyler Ober, Cody Ober, Nicholas Hanten, Wyatt Meyeraan, Robert Slinger, Jose Mejia and Jack Marco. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, three siblings.
