She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tuin and Sara Muller Tuin; her former husband Ralph Cochran (Bill Leysen); and her granddaughter Lisa Cochran. She is survived by: her children, Gerald (Sandy Cochran), Ralph (Kay Cochran), Bill (Becky Leysen) and Laurel (Dave Jorgenson); and her sister-in-law Doris Schreier of Slayton, MN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 41 great-great-grandchildren.
