She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Rooyen and Winnie Boersma Van Rooyen; her husband Henry; her grandson Lee Petersen; and her sister Helen Blankers (John).
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Petersen (Alan) of Slayton, MN; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Veronique Petersen), Melissa (Nate Schunke) and Emily (Lucas Christoffer); and her great grandchildren, Joshua Lee, Caleb, Isaac, Olivia Petersen, Aleeyah, Micah, Paisley, Asa Schunke and Beckett Lee Christoffer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
