He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lewis, Curtis Nelson and Betty Engelkes. He is survived by: his wife Elvera Nelson of Slayton, MN; his children, Kevin (Linda Nelson), Kim (Jolene Nelson), Kathy (Tom Olsem) and Ken Nelson of Hadley, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Nelson of Wilmont, MN, Sodona (Glen Pearson) of New Prague, MN and Ernie Engelkes of Slayton, MN.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
