He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Dorn and Margaret Nytes Dorn; his wife Betty; his siblings, Jerry Dorn and Marianne Heitkamp; his parents-in-law, Joe Adrian and Hazel (George B. German); and his niece Julie Heitkamp.
He is survived by: his children, Janel Dorn of Sioux Falls, SD, Matt Dorn of Baltimore, MD and Mike Dorn of Crow Agency, MT; his siblings, Joe (Clarice "Punky" Dorn), Marlene (Dave Hieronimus), Robert Dorn, James (Cheryl Dorn) and Michael (Sue Dorn); and his brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Heitkamp of Brookings, SD.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a charity of choice.
