It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Leclaire of Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Beech and Lena Schreier Beech; her husband Don; her children, Gail LeClaire and Douglas LeClaire; her great grandchild Samuel Hektner; her sisters, Marcella "Sally" (Oliver Gregorie) and Bernice (Earl Silva); and her brothers-in-law, Calvin Jones, Loren Gilliland, Virgil Landsman and Lloyd Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, James (Mary LeClaire), Diane London (Steven Kost) of Pierre, SD, Theresa (Ray Zeller), Lori Hektner of Sioux Falls, SD, Marcia (Joe Schreier) and Dave (Patty LeClaire); and her sisters, Lorraine Jones of Slayton, MN, Beverly Gilliland of Slayton, MN, Doretta Landsman of Tyler, MN and Eileen Johnson of Worthington, MN. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
Per MN Executive Order, masks will be required, and social distancing and occupancy limits are to be followed.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials to go to Hospice of Murray County.
