He is survived by: his wife Margaret Nelson of Slayton, MN; his children, Charles Allen (Diane Nelson), Karen (Dean Husfeldt), Lois (Eric Rongstad), Ruth (Travis Fawcett) and Donald (Mary Nelson); his grandchildren, Jonathon Nelson, Deanna Tollefson (Susan), Isaac Ydstie (Laura Nelson), Matthew, Cassie Husfeldt (Nichole), Zach Salfer, Tyler Fawcett (Carter Fawcett) and Rachel Nelson (Megan Nelson); his great grandchildren, Penelope Husfeldt, Maria Ydstie, Joana Nelson Tollefson and Ethan Salfer; his siblings, Mayme (Larry Halverson), Beverly Gylling of Tyler, MN and Shirley (Pat Brosseau); and his sisters-in-law, Jeaneen Nelson of Slayton, MN, Vera Peddycoart of Venice, FL, Dorothy Gustafson of Ramsey, MN and Marilyn Brink of Sioux Falls, SD..
