He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Asman and Magdalena Pommeret Asman; his former wife Fern Lois Kalpin; and his brothers, Robert, Eugene and Howard Asman.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah (Rande Krusemark), Randy (Kathy Asman) and Julia (Bruce Opheim); his grandson Sam; his wife Elaine Asman of Slayton, MN; his children-in-law, Keith, Julie Buesing of Mason City, Curtis, Joan Buesing of Scottdale, AZ, Paula, Alan Olson of Mesa, AZ, Tom and Angela Buesing of Springfield, MN; and his son Mark Buesing of Boerne, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five step-children.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Slayton Presbyterian Church or to donors' charity of choice.
